A running 1946 Lincoln Flathead V12 with original transmission.
I would totally put it in a Brookville 32 3 window coupe and definitely see if I could find some vintage speed equipment for it.
My vision would be a full fendered '32 painted flat black with slightly off white scallops, and a candied, metal-flake, red roof. The interior would be a bench seat covered in "oiled" brown distressed leather with a diamond stitch pattern. I would of course have a 9 inch with an adjustable 4 link in the rear and a Mustang II front with tubular control arms and adjustable coil-overs. I think radar rims with white walls all the way around, but with cheater slicks out back.

I'd somehow cram that into the back of my smart. Would make one hell of a conversation piece.
And I could say I drive a V12 Mercedes (powered by Lincoln)...

Yes. Yes you need that indeed.

That thing really needs to be stuffed in a Deuce. The Model A body would make it look like a pup.

a few people make speed party's for those but they go for more than what they are asking for the whole motor. Original stuff if you can find it will cost the amount of a nice car.
Plus got go all traditional, buggy rear spring on a vintage quick change and a drilled and dropped axel in the front with split wishbones .

Hell yes. Not going traditional with this would be a crime.

After dealing with the leaf springs on my pinto, I never want to deal with leafs again.

My Rover's staying all leafy green (new leafs all the way around), but the Ranchero will be all coils through having the glorious Jaaaaag rear. Which of course means I'll have *6* coils and shocks, not *4* like a peasant. It's an upgrade, but also a fix: thems *are* some saggy leafs it has right now, to be sure.

Having to bolt my axle on was a royal pain in the ass. Leaf springs not: even once.

Probably a decent deal if you had a cool project to put it in, as you mentioned.
